Aftermarket exhaust installs, forced induction, suspension, carbon fiber aero, and custom body kits, fitted in-house at our Virginia Beach studio.
Simple Details has been a high-end automotive restyling shop from the start, and performance has been part of the work for years. The clients who trust us with paint protection and ceramic coatings are the same ones returning for exhaust work, suspension setups, and full builds.
Every set of performance modifications Virginia Beach drivers bring to us begins the same way: understand what you actually want, whether a louder note and a lower stance or forced induction and a safe flash tune, then make it happen, right the first time.
We consult rather than upsell, so recommendations fit your platform and your goals.
Sourced from 30+ partner brands, not the gray market, with coverage explained before work begins.
From daily drivers and weekend cars to dedicated track builds.
Award-winning precision from paint protection, carried into every build.
An aftermarket exhaust install is often where a build begins. As authorized dealers for Milltek Sport, Akrapovič, and Eventuri, we fit exhaust systems and intakes engineered for your platform, from a single-day install to a full forced-induction build with supporting modifications.
Tuning comes from trusted partners as safe flash tunes; we do not offer custom dyno tuning.
A McLaren 765LT tune, titanium exhaust, and Inconel downpipes, completed in-house at our Virginia Beach studio.
Lowering springs, coilovers, and ride-height systems change how a car sits and how it responds. We specify H&R Springs and matched setups for the way you actually use the car, then fit them in-house so the chassis keeps pace with the power.
Real carbon fiber aero, from splitters to full body kits, adds presence without disturbing the lines your car was designed with. Through partners such as Urban Automotive we source the custom body kits Virginia Beach exotics wear, then fit, align, and protect every panel in the same studio that applies your paint protection film.
Wheels change handling, ride quality, and the entire attitude of a car. We are authorized dealers for HRE, Brixton Forged, MV Forged, and Anrky, with fitments, offsets, and finishes specified for your vehicle, and select brand wheels include our professional-grade ceramic wheel coating, complimentary.
Your goals, platform, and budget, then a realistic timeline.
As authorized dealers we source every part. You bring only the car.
Fitted in-house, to the same standard as our paint protection work.
What is covered, explained before work begins, and support long after.
Serving enthusiasts across Hampton Roads, including Norfolk, Chesapeake, and Suffolk, from our studio at 2428 Virginia Beach Blvd.
“They went above and beyond by removing the old splitter, fitting the new one and wrapping it. Due to the make and model, a regular body shop with no experience with specialty vehicles was not going to suffice.”
“Showed up Thursday and they took care of the job in half the quoted time and it was done flawlessly. Couldn’t be happier.”
“I’m picky who works on my cars. These folks do a great job because they pay close attention to detail — it’s what you expect from someone working on a luxury car.”
There is no single figure, because cost follows the platform, the parts and how far you want to take the car. Every build begins with a free consultation covering your goals, aesthetics and budget, followed by a plan with a realistic timeline. We consult rather than upsell, so we will not push products that do not fit your platform or your goals. Exact pricing for your build is confirmed at that consultation.
The work covers sound, power, stance and presence: exhaust systems and intakes, forced induction with supporting modifications, lowering springs, coilovers and ride-height setups, carbon fiber aero from splitters to full body kits, custom forged wheels, and cosmetic and interior modifications. Tuning is done as safe flash tunes through trusted partners. Parts are fitted in-house at our Virginia Beach studio, to the same standard as our paint protection work.
For exhaust and intake work, we are authorized dealers for Milltek Sport, Akrapovič and Eventuri. For wheels, we are authorized dealers for HRE, Brixton Forged, MV Forged and Anrky. We also work with partner brands such as H&R Springs, Urban Automotive and Vorsteiner. In all, we are authorized dealers and brand partners for more than 30 premium manufacturers, so if the part you have in mind is not named here, bring it up at your free consultation.
Yes. New aero and body panels are fitted, aligned and protected in the same studio that applies our XPEL paint protection film. XPEL STEALTH™, our satin film, can also give gloss carbon fiber, splitters and aero parts a matte accent. XPEL makes FUSION PLUS™ ceramic coating for wheels and calipers, and select-brand wheels include our professional-grade ceramic wheel coating, complimentary. Film is the better defense against chips and scratches; a ceramic coating adds shine and easier upkeep, but it cannot stop rock chips.
Yes. An aftermarket exhaust is often where a build begins, and a build can just as easily start with a set of coilovers and a wheel swap. Before anything gets started, our technicians walk you through how a part pairs with your existing setup and what the car will need to support it long term, so each step makes sense for the next, whether that eventually means forced induction, a full aero package or both.
It can be, as long as the setup is chosen for how the car is actually used. Lowering springs, coilovers and ride-height systems change how a car sits and how it responds, so we specify H&R Springs or a matched setup for the way you drive, from the daily commute to a dedicated track build. Our technicians walk you through the full impact of any change while the build is planned, so there are no surprises.
Tell us what you are working with and where you want to take it. Our performance consultants will map out a plan for your goals, your platform, and your budget.
